Asst. Prof. Dr. İdil Işıl Gül

İdil Işıl Gül, graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1994, has received her LL.M. degree from the same University. She received her Ph.D. in Public Law from Marmara University. She has been a member of the Law Faculty at Bilgi University since 1997. Dr. Gül teaches courses in the areas of International Law, Human Rights Law and Humanitarian Law both in undergraduate and graduate levels. She works with local and international NGOs on a voluntary or professional basis, especially in the areas of anti-discrimination, LGBTI rights and rights of persons with disabilities.

Research interests: international law, humanitarian law, prohibition of discrimination, LGBTI rights, rights of persons with disabilities.
